Every seat includes 50 analyzed PRs per month; beyond that it's a small per-PR rate, so a busy month is a predictable add-on rather than a surprise bill. Only distinct PRs count — pushes and re-analyses of the same PR are free (teams average ~2.2 analysis runs per PR; you pay for the PR once). Billed per active developer (only those who opened a PR), with ~2 months free on annual plans.
Know your bill before you see it
Two sliders, zero surprises. This is the exact math our billing runs on — seats plus a per-PR rate past each seat's included 50.

The fine print, in plain English
What counts as a seat?
A member of your organization who holds a seat. Everyone you invite gets one automatically; owners can switch a seat off for a teammate who is dormant, on leave, or only needs the reports occasionally — they stay on the roster, out of the bill, and get their seat back with one switch. Seat changes are prorated onto your next invoice, and a live meter in your organization settings shows the projected total as you go.
What happens when a seat passes its 50 included PRs?
On paid plans the extra PRs are metered at the plan's per-PR rate ($1 Starter and Pro, $0.75 Business) and appear on the same monthly invoice — no blocked analyses, no separate charge. On Free there is no metering at all: analysis pauses at 50 PRs and resumes next month. A busy month is a predictable add-on, never a surprise.
Does every push to a PR count against my allowance?
No — only distinct PRs count. Firetrail re-analyzes a PR on every push, but a PR you've already used this month never bills again no matter how many times it's re-analyzed. Teams average about 2.2 analysis runs per PR; you pay for the PR once. (Tools that meter per review effectively charge you for every push — check your invoice.)
How does annual billing work?
You pay for 10 months and get 12 — roughly 17% off the seat price. Overage is always billed monthly as it happens, because we can't know your PR volume in advance and won't pretend to.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately. Downgrades and cancellations are scheduled for the end of your current billing period, so you keep everything you've already paid for. Canceling drops you to Free — your history and dashboards stay.
What's a Turbo Analysis?
Very large PRs are normally analyzed from a representative sample of the diff (and the analysis says so — we never present a partial read as a full one). A Turbo Analysis re-runs the whole pipeline on a large-context model so the entire PR is read in full. Each paid seat gets a monthly allowance: 1 on Starter, 3 on Pro, 5 on Business.
Do I need a credit card for the Free plan?
No. Free has no billing at all — that's why it hard-caps instead of metering. Connect a repo and your first PR is scored in minutes. One honest note: Firetrail sets aside a monthly amount for Free-plan analysis across everyone on Free, so when it's used up, Free analyses wait until next month. Paid plans never wait.
Running something bigger?
Enterprise adds unlimited Turbo Analyses, negotiated overage, and a direct line to the team. Write to [email protected] with a rough team size — we'll take it from there.
